Founded by West End musical performers Helen and Jamie Read, RDT provide a professional, fun and safe setting for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy dance, singing and acting. It has always been our belief that the performing arts should be for everyone, and that is why our Dance and Drama Classes in Thatcham, Theale and Caversham Park Village - as well as our Mini Theatre School, Saturday Theatre School and Performance Academy in Thatcham - are excellent value for money..
Our students benefit from fantastic tuition from experienced, qualified teachers and regular performance opportunities including Arts Festivals, Dance Competitions, and our own School Shows. In fact, in the last 3 years our students have won five awards at the Red Cross 'Dance For Life' competition, danced at Fashion Shows for Tesco, formed the on-stage choir for the professional UK touring production of 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' in Reading, and danced with Diversity at Pineapple!
Our Dance, Drama and Singing classes are based in Thatcham at the Frank Hutchings Community Hall and at Francis Baily School, Theale at the John Cumber Hall and Caversham Park Village at the Milestones Centre.

All of our classes are taught by experienced, qualified professionals
All of our teachers have on-stage experience as professional performers, which is experience that our students can really benefit from. As well as this, all teachers are of course fully qualified, CRB checked, and are regularly trained in child protection and first aid. |
